RE: Possibility of serving as an volunteer judge
DATE: 2006-2007 School Year
Dear
Sir or Madame;
It has been brought to my attention that
you are interested in volunteering as a judge for our regional competition.
I would like to thank you in advance for your time and assistance.
You may judge in any event or area that you wish, you do not need to
be an expert on the subject. We will
have people to help explain an area as needed, we need your opinions. The criteria for your area will be given to
and explained to you prior to you judging.
Since judging starts at promptly 6:00PM, we will need you to report
to the Berry Center by 5:00PM.
This is so that we can fully explain the judging process. This will mean that you will probably need
to leave your place of business earlier than usual Friday April 13, 2007. Should you need a letter directly to your
supervisor please let me know and I will gladly provide it. Without the support of people such as yourself
our students would not be nearly so successful. This one evening’s volunteer work will directly
affect 200+ students ranging from middle school to the high school level.
Thank you again for your time and dedication.
Sincerely,
Richard Gilbert
