In order to join BVTSA and compete in our Region, each advisor must:

 

Affiliate your chapter. Affiliation deadline is November 1, 2026.  Late affiliation deadline December 11, 2026 for an additional $250 fee.

Attend 2 mandatory advisor meetings plus 1 additional pre-regional advisor meeting.

Mandatory advisor meetings:

• Monthly Regional Meetings are virtual and in-person. There is a mandatory Pre-regional on February 3, 2027 at 6 PM (in-person), location TBD.

• Attending all regular meetings are encouraged.  You are responsible for all information shared and discussed in ALL meetings. 

• Each school wanting to compete at Regionals must have an advisor present at the Regional and Pre-Regional meeting.

 

Sign the Intent to Compete Contract and submit to Brazos Valley TSA.  

 

Regional Competition Fees

• $10 Chapter Fee per Chapter

• $8 Per Student Fee

• $12 Per Advisor

• Scholarship DOES count as an event

• No fee for chaperones

 

Advisor manhours – each advisor that is attending is expected to be present for the WHOLE EVENT Friday and Saturday and working at coordinating events, judging, wrangling kids, etc.  Please volunteer or you will be assigned.

Judges – each chapter is expected to provide a minimum of 2 judges (not including the advisor).  If you have a large number of entries/kids be sure to contribute more judges.

 

​Abide by the rules of BVTSA as voted on by members.
